San Juan Island isn’t just a stunning backdrop—it’s home to family and a place we love. Joshs parents live there, and we couldn’t imagine celebrating our Wedding Festival anywhere else. We can’t wait to share the beauty and magic of the island with our friends and family!

We’re already legally married (City Hall!)
but we’ll have a ceremony during the weekend. It’s not the legal part — it’s the meaningful part we want to experience with the people we love. -
Not at all. You’re welcome to join us for as much or as little as you’re able. But since it’s a destination celebration, we do recommend staying a couple of days if you can.

There will be events all week (maybe even a Seattle adventure!), so we recommend arriving at least by Thursday or Friday to relax, settle in, and start the weekend stress-free.

We’ll share recommended hotels, inns, rentals, and areas on the island in the next couple of weeks. San Juan Island has plenty of charming spots, but they book early, so planning ahead is a good idea.

A car is helpful but not required. Friday Harbor is walkable, and taxis, shuttles, and rental options are available.

Yes, children are welcome to join the celebration. We’ll share details about family-friendly activities soon.

Yes! August is peak season. Ferries, lodging, and flights fill up quickly, so booking as early as possible is a smart move
